Bungoma inter-parties court has this 24th April 2023 afternoon issued conservatory orders instructing Bungoma County Public Service Board (BCPSB) not to issue appointment letters to four Chief Officer nominees pending determination on an application by officers who were interdicted recently by governor Ken Lusaka.
ikuweikuwe.com has further learnt that the aggrieved officer’s demand is payment of their dues as per their contracts. Their contracts were set to end on various dates with some at the end of this and next year while one in 2026
Vetting of the nominees will nevertheless proceed as planned by the Assembly starting tomorrow Tuesday, 26th April 2023
