QUOTES; Khalaba Ward MCA, Hon. Majimbo Okumu puts the record straight on Sulwe Fm, leaves critics bruised

The long serving and therefore experienced legislator was invited to Sulwe FM morning talks how dabbed Endekhelo on Thursday, 29 April 2021 to address issues primarily as the Chair to the County Assembly Committee on Public Administration. Top on the agenda was governor Wycliffe Wangamati’s utterances on number of issues while on the same show a few days ago.

Here is a collection of quotes made by Hon. Majimbo, arguably the face of oversight in Bungoma;

On Joram – I don’t like talking about my colleagues but – Joram is an absentee MCA in the assembly,he knows nothing in the assembly – he doesn’t know anything – he is among the members of the governor’s praise & worship team. He is a yes man of the governor – I wish omwami Elima be elected next time – he hardly spent 5 minutes int the assembly.”

Seems the governor’s CECs are confused. The car grant came from the revolving fund and nowhere else.

According to me, Governor Wangamati is an average student. Let him come on Tuesday I continue teaching him – I haven’t given up on him yet, he is still young. The governor needs the County Assembly, let him not listen to Chirasha Makandas of this world.
