91-YEAR-OLD MOODY AWORI, AKOTHEE AND FORMER AUDITOR GENERAL LAND LREB JOBS
Uncle Moody the veteran politician and former Vice President has today Thursday, August 20, 2020 alongside others been appointed to the Inter-County Advisory and Resource Mobilization Committee by the Lake Region Economic Bloc Chair Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya who also doubles as the Chairman to the Council of Governors
Other appointees to the LREB Covid-19 Advisory and Resource Mobilization Committee include; Former Auditor General Edward Ouko, musician Akothee, Sportsman Eliud Kipchoge and human rights lawyer and equality activist Catherine Mumma
The Committee is chaired by; Professor Khama Rogo a lead health specialist at World Bank and head of World Bank Group’s Health in Africa Initiative.
The committee is mandated to mobilize resources as well as advise the economic bloc on ways of dealing with Covid-19 within the 11 member Counties.
