#COVID-19 CLAIMS ITS FIRST FEMALE VICTIM IN BUNGOMA
Bungoma County once again mourns the loss of another Covid-19 victim only 4 days after the burial of Kabuchai politician Nabangi Tale who died of the same virus. Elizabeth Kusienya had been moved to Webuye Hospital after her Covid-19 test results turned positive on Monday, August 2020. She was directly admitted in the ISOLATION ward upon arrival but unfortunately she passed on today morning
Being the first female victim to die in Bungoma, Elizabeth an Omuechalo by clan had a swollen leg which pained her so much that she was unable to attend the burial of her late sister Wendy Kusienya on Saturday, August 01, 2020 and was therefore rushed to hospital for medication while exhibiting breathing problems and a swollen leg
She hailed from Kolani area, Namwela Ward – Sirisia Constituency
Her body has been kept at Lifecare morgue
